Meet Elizabeth Blake,
Dr. Elizabeth Blake was raised in Tampa, Florida. Growing up, she always admired her aunt, a flight attendant who worked her way up to become CEO, and her father. She credits them for teaching her a good work ethic that made her who she is.
Her father’s love and dedication, going so far as to sew her dance costumes and reteach her algebra each night, inspired her to build Elizabeth Blake Orthodontics in 2013.
Why Orthodontics?
Dr. Blake has wanted to be an orthodontist for as long as she can remember. Having braces as a child influenced her goals, and today, she’s happy to share that love for orthodontics with our community.
If you ask Dr. Blake, orthodontics is the perfect blend of art and science. As an orthodontist, she enjoys the opportunity to transform smiles and change her patients’ lives!
Education & Experience
Dr. Blake earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida where she graduated Cum Laude. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.
She stayed at the University of Florida for dental school graduating in 2006 with her DMD degree and celebrating the Gator BCS Championship. She is a loyal Florida Gator, and feels they can still hear her cheers all the way from New England!
She then went on to the University of Connecticut to earn a Masters in Dental Science and Certificate in the Specialty of Orthodontics and met Dr. Chris.
Outside the Office
When she isn’t busy creating beautiful smiles in the office, you can find Dr. Blake spending time with her husband Dr. Christopher Peluso, and their two children, Lucas and Bella.
She also enjoys fitness and cooking. Dr. Blake has an eye for interior design and loves designing aesthetically pleasing spaces.
